Kathryn Attrill is a visual artist based in London, originally from the Isle of Wight. Attrill’s material approach to moving image dismantles and re-assembles fragile filmic fragments within both digital and analogue practices. Her work is often provoked by ecological disappearance, human object relation and internal encounters with broken image. Attrill’s writing often entangles critical, psychoanalytical and creative methodology on the personal fictions which are evoked by unearthing image fragments.
