Digital sculptures manipulated with deteriorating video-taped images propose the ingestion of our collections in a personal encounter. Once captured and swallowed, these objects are held close in a pulsing passage embrace. Their nutrients drawn, seep through hot arteries in an intimate reflection. Partially digested remains are regurgitated and discarded for curious gloves hands to discover and dismantle.

Gullet Formations was premiered as part of 302_Redirect virtual multi-disciplinary showcase. Works made by artists were made in immediate response to their own exploratory practices, amidst the newly pressing and uncertain techno-spherical art world during covid-19 pandemic.
