Resemblance (2016)
Video installation (2.38 min loop) VTR displayed on 2 4:3 monitors, perspex.
Resemblance exists as a filmic portrait of mother and child, artist and subject. The film ponders of similarities and differences found within these two parts through collaborative video taped footage. Each monitor flickers images both simultaneously and independently. The sheet of perspex between them layering images upon one another for dual spectators to scrutinise. Two Spectator's gaze cross one another through observing the images, their features become morphed by the reflective yet permeable surface.
